Jayden Quaintance talks Kentucky commit

A lot of good things have happened over the last few months for 6-10 F Jayden Quaintance,

He had an eye opening spring on the travel circuit, a great showing at NBPA Top100 camp…earning a selection to the All-Star team, classed up to the 2024 class and now a Kentucky Wildcat commit. All while still being 15 years old (not a mis-print).

When asked about his decision he stated, “It was a difficult decision but I really trusted the staff, they have a winning tradition and will have the talent to continue that tradition, and competing against high level competition to prepare me for the future”.

“Coach Cal and Coach Chin came to quite a few of my games and made me feel comfortable enough to choose Kentucky”. When asked about the team he stated “I didn’t spend a lot of time with them on my visit but I know the freshmen from playing on the travel circuit, USA basketball, OTE and camps, so I felt very comfortable being there”

It’s crazy to think that JQ will still be 16 years old when he steps on campus in Lexington, turning 17 years old on July 11th.

Kentucky is getting a tough, high motor big who is active on both ends, ability to knockdown shots behind the arc, run the floor, attack on rips to the paint and finish plays above the rim.

Talk about a bright future.

Quaintance chose Kentucky over Missouri (In his final two) Florida and Ohio State.
