Flemings is a true lead guard with a slight frame who has great feel for the game. He has the respect of his teammates and understands the importance of ball reversal and knows how to keep the defense moving. Flemings serves the table at a high tempo and is fantastic at the throw ahead pass as his passing vision is exceptional. He is capable of controlling a game with his change of speeds and wiggle with the ball in his hands. However, he does play tall and upright which could cause him to get loose with the ball when a great amount of pressure is applied. In transition, he is an excellent advance passer who puts constant pressure on the rim and plays very unselfish. He loves to get down hill and shows a lot of pop exploding off of one foot. In fact, the majority of plays he makes when looking to penetrate a defense is made off of one foot which could lead to off balance, out of control plays at the high major level. However, he has a knack for the drive, draw, and kick game and playing off two feet is something he will grasp more of a feel for down the road. Over the course of his career his jumper has became more clean and fluid, but he will need to continue developing as a shooter. He has shown the ability to score with opportunity from three-levels on the floor when in rhythm. What makes him special as a prospect is his long-term tools. He brings great athleticism, feel, and a team-first mindset to the point guard position. Players at the lead guard spot are usually not characterized by their upside but Flemings oozes with great potential.
