For the first recruiting Live Period of the 2026 spring/summer, I made my first-ever visit to check out the New Balance P32 league. The P32 League has only been around for a few summers, but it is steadily picking up steam in terms of organization, support from the brand, and talent displayed on the court. The action took place at the newly built Children’s Health Starcenter Multisport in Northlake, Texas, right outside of Dallas, which is equipped with eight full basketball courts and two hockey rinks.
Standouts
Alex Alexander 6’9 2029 Max Level Elite Dallas
Alexander was probably the best prospect in the building. Only a freshman, he played on the 17u level and made an impact with his size, speed, and athleticism. The talented lefty can stretch the floor if left open when his feet are set, but he’s at his best when his motor is on full go. The young forward delivered some big-time dunks in transition and when slashing through the zone from about 15ft and in. He showed a level of maturity by hardly ever getting rattled, and playing within his game.
Ronnie Sealleaze 6’3 2027 Play Hard Play Smart
A combo guard with a good frame who just gives the feel that he will be an undervalued west coast guy that some program will snatch and win plenty of games with. He didn’t speed past people or jump over the top of them. Instead, Sealleaze made great decisions with the ball and managed to constantly find his way into the lane. Sporting a body that will look great once he finishes filling out, he created space with his shoulders, valued possessions, and came up with a ton of 50/50 balls.
Jalen Brown 6’5 2027 Midwest Renegades
One of the higher-ranked players in the building, Brown has a lot of ability, but sometimes he does too much chasing after the ball instead of sprinting the floor to make himself available for easy buckets. The talent comes in his ability to slash and spring up over defenders for mid-range looks. Brown also did a good job of creating his own looks off the dribble, outside of being a willing passer. When he was good on Friday morning, his team thrived to a win with Brown being the primary offensive catalyst.
Averi Knight 6’0 2028 DC Assault
The small guard was a fan favorite over the weekend amongst the evaluators in attendance. Knight stayed poised as he clocked big minutes with the 17u group. Equipped with a good IQ and a crafty ability to finish in the paint. He pushed the ball end to end while displaying a knack for finishing at the rim with his off hand through contact. Knight rarely got caught over-dribbling, and he managed his team’s possessions very well, which is what coaches want to see when it comes to the next level.
U-Mier Graham 6’7 2026 Northeast United
There were not many players in the 2026 class that stood out over the weekend, but Graham is definitely one who is worthy of being on a college roster come next year. His college-ready body and brand of physical play made him effective at finishing in the paint and above the rim. Sort of a hybrid forward, but would have a better chance of thriving when lining up at the power forward spot, where he could take advantage of putting the ball on the deck.
Chris Hunt Jr. 6’2 2027 Max Levels Elite Dallas
The herky jerky movements the lefty shows when working off the dribble, the long arms and speed burst, put you in the mindset of Brandon Jennings. Hunt proved that he could score it in bunches, including from behind the arc. When the game slowed down, so did he, proving that he can put people in position to score. His long reach was also effective on the defensive side of the ball, as he harassed ball handlers, which resulted in a few open-court steals and dunks.
