UA Circuit has a premier of top talent

The Under Armour Circuit continues to showcase some of the premier young talent in the country, with multiple prospects elevating their stock through strong spring performances. From established stars to emerging names, the depth across the grassroots landscape has been on full display.

One of the biggest names making noise has been 2028 standout JL Williams of B Maze Elite 16U. Williams continues to prove why he belongs firmly in the Top 25 conversation nationally within his class after another dominant weekend on the Under Armour Next stage. Consistently producing 20-point, 10-rebound performances, he has become one of the most productive forwards on the circuit. Defensively, his presence was equally impactful, highlighted by a remarkable nine-block outing. Williams combines polished post moves with the ability to stretch the floor and knock down perimeter shots, making him an extremely difficult matchup offensively.

In the 17U division, Darrell Davis of Team Thrill has arguably been the most consistent point guard on the circuit thus far. Davis controls the tempo of the game with maturity beyond his years, excelling as both a facilitator and scorer. His ability to create opportunities for teammates while also taking over offensively when needed has made him one of the more complete guards in attendance. On the defensive end, his relentless ball pressure disrupts opposing offenses and sets the tone for Team Thrill. Simply put, Team Thrill goes as Davis goes.

Another key performer has been Jarvis Hayes Jr. of Atlanta Xpress 17U. Hayes serves as the engine for his squad, and when he is locked in, Atlanta Xpress becomes one of the more dangerous teams on the circuit. His ability to penetrate the defense, create scoring opportunities, and impact the game in multiple ways stands out every weekend. Although his outside shot was not falling consistently during this past session, Hayes still found ways to contribute to winning basketball. His versatility to effectively play all three perimeter positions may ultimately be his greatest strength.

One of the most talked-about players nationally this spring has been 2029 forward Draydne McDaniel of Pro One 16U. The 6’8” small forward has emerged as one of the premier young prospects in the country while helping elevate Pro One into one of the top teams on the UA Circuit. McDaniel’s blend of size, athleticism, competitiveness, and two-way versatility makes him a dynamic player to watch. He impacts the game in transition, around the rim, and defensively with his ability to guard multiple positions.

Another standout in the 2029 class has been Quinton Wilson of Atlanta Xpress 16U. Wilson brings a smooth, controlled pace to the game that opposing defenders struggle to speed up. He has proven to be highly effective as both a catch & shoot threat or a scorer off the dribble, while also finishing efficiently at the rim. Wilson is averaging 18.3 points per game while shooting an impressive 49 % from the field and 49 % from three-point range, showcasing his efficiency and scoring ability.

Does UA Have Another High-Major Sleeper in Bronx Ganaway?

Another intriguing long-term prospect emerging on the circuit is 2029 wing forward Bronx Ganaway of KC Run GMC.

At 6’8”, Ganaway possesses the size, mobility, and perimeter skill set that immediately catches attention. His versatility on both ends of the floor continues to flash significant upside, especially as a player capable of operating on or off the ball. The tools are clearly there for him to develop into a high-level prospect.

As Ganaway continues to physically mature and add strength, particularly finishing through contact and establishing himself more consistently around the rim, his overall production and impact should continue to rise. With his combination of length, athletic tools, and skill development, Ganaway looks every bit like a potential high-major prospect in the making.
