Alex Pace enters the 2026-27 season as one of the more underrated point guards in the Class of 2027, but his production continues to make that label harder to justify.
The 6-foot-2 guard is headed to Brewster Academy after a breakout year that started at Camden and continued through an impressive spring and summer with WeR1.
Pace was one of South Jersey’s most productive guards last season, averaging 23.6 points per game at Camden. He surpassed 1,000 career points, earned First Team All-South Jersey honors and delivered one of the year’s biggest individual performances with 51 points in a state playoff game.
That momentum carried directly into the grassroots season.
Playing with WeR1 on the Under Armour circuit, Pace averaged 18.6 points per game and consistently produced against national competition. He collected MVP honors at multiple events and established himself as a reliable scorer and playmaker throughout the summer.
His biggest moment came at the UAA Finals, where he helped lead WeR1 to the 17U national championship.
Pace scored 25 points in the title game and was named UAA Finals MVP, putting an exclamation point on one of the strongest summers of any guard in the region.
Pace’s game is built around his ability to control tempo, create separation and score at all three levels. He can get downhill, make shots off the dribble and create opportunities for teammates without playing rushed.
Now he takes that skill set to Brewster Academy, where the level of competition will increase considerably.
The move gives Pace an opportunity to play on a national stage, compete daily against other high-level prospects and further prove that his production translates beyond the regional level.
Pace currently holds offers from Boston University, Le Moyne, Wagner, Tennessee Tech, Yale and Texas Southern, with additional Division I programs continuing to track him.
After a breakout season at Camden and a championship summer with WeR1, Pace has already built a strong résumé.
Brewster Academy now gives him the platform to show the rest of the country why he belongs among the top guards in the 2027 class.
