UA Next Session 1, Part III
Our coverage of Under Armour Next Session I, continues to uncover more outstanding players from the weekend. It was fun to watch kids play at a high level and compete in competitive games.
King Grace 6’5 SG 2025 Texas Impact 4:13
Theres a reason he already has several high majors offers at his disposal. He is one of the best two way players in his class. This past weekend he led his team to a 3-1 record. I watch him numerous times put his team on his back. He may not have a pitcher perfect jump shot but it’s very effective and when it’s crunch time, it becomes even more efficient. He dominates the game offensively why doing it in the flow of the game. His ability to guard multiple positions is one of his major assets.
Javon Bardwell 6’3 2027 G West Coast Elite
After getting a chance to really cover the UA Next Circuit. I came to a conclusion that Javon is one of the most electrifying and promising players on the circuit. He may be as quick with the ball as without. He constantly puts pressure on the defense. It’s almost impossible to keep him out the lane. He really impressed me with his effort on the defensive end. When his jump shot becomes more consistent, he will be almost unstoppable.
Vincent Chaudhri 6’7 2025 WF Riverside Hawks
He was one of the most pleasant surprises for me this past weekend. He was the main catalyst in the Hawks three wins. He’s a phenomenal athlete that plays with non-stop energy on both ends. He puts pressure on the defense by constantly attacking the basket. He consistently finishes above the rim. His ability to defend his man and help his teammate was very impressive. He made numerous game winning plays. He made some big threes, but like to see him become more consistent from deep.
2025 Christopher Cherry 5’11 2025 PG B Maze Elite
He is the catalyst for B Maze Elite. This team goes as he goes. He’s lightening quick and he a problem to guard. He can score in bunches and can quickly take over a game. He didn’t shoot the ball from deep great this past weekend but he was effective put the pressure on and getting his teammates involved. He plays both ends of the court and when locked in his on ball defense can be outstanding. He’s definitely fun to watch play.
Jayden Leverett 6’9 2025 C 210 IFN
He wasn’t only one of the most intriguing players this past weekend, he also may be one of the most intriguing players in his class. He still has a raw game. He doesn’t have many bad habits. He definitely plays within himself. He plays with a lot of physicality and tenacity. Most of his damage was in the paint and around the basket. It would’ve been nice to see him get more touches in the paint. When he got touches down low good things happen for IFN.
