Hodge is a strong and versatile two-way player who impacts the game on both ends of the floor without needing to be the offensive focal point. He’s well-built with a good frame that is only going to continue to expand in a college weight room. He’s tough, physical, and consistently plays hard. He really competes on the defensive end. He’s not ultra-quick laterally, but he gets into a good low stance, utilizes his length, and works to slide his feet. He’s also plenty capable of being physical with bigger guys inside and thus highly versatile. Offensively, he’s not necessarily a creator at this point, but he’s an unselfish player and willing passer who can also make an open spot-up three, occasional straight-line drive, or take smaller defenders into the post. Overall, Hodge may be best described as a combo-forward and ideal blend player, who can impact winning on both ends of the floor.
H.S. Athletic Background
