Punch fits the mold of a true four-man in today's game. He works hard on both ends of the floor and is a skilled play-finisher who goes about his business with a composed demeanor. He scores with a soft touch inside the lane and is comfortable knocking down trail threes from behind the arc. His best asset is his willingness to play hard. Punch gets most of his points attacking the offensive glass and finishing through traffic inside. He gets off the floor well in a crowded lane, is a good rebounder in his area, and his motor is quite good. His physicality and soft hands come into play when while snatching rebounds. He is one of those prospects who does not try to do anything out of his comfort zone and the strengths he brings to the table effortlessly translates.
H.S. Athletic Background
David Punch is a 6-7, 205-pound Power Forward from Harker Heights, TX.
