Elite24 Srimmage Standouts

The closed practices are over, and the lights come on Saturday night at Atlantic Station. In the final warm-up to game, these were a few standouts.

Ace Bailey – The thing that most young players battle with is lack of consistency. Bailey hasn’t had that issue. Their are a few that I’ve seen that leave that impression but this is about Bailey. He gives on both ends and, showed his versatility as a deep ball and mid-post threat, getting down hill and finishing with force. Odds on favorite for MVP on Saturday.

Vyctorius Miller – Set the tempo for his team, taking care of the ball, took advantage of scoring opportunities in transition, while setting up his teammates. While a few guards forced action, Miller was effective by taking what the defense gave him.

Ian Jackson – He has been very impressive over the last two days. Miller excelled in transition, is tough on rips the rim and is showing an ever improving jumper. He is evolving into the over used phrase, three level scorer. slashing, all-around game. One of my three favorites for game MVP

Derik Queen – with his great hands, Queen is a favorite of any point guard due to his pass catching reliability. Once caught on the post or short corner Queen was a scoring threat, utilizing footwork and patience, a passing threat due to his willingness to find cutters and shooters on double-downs. MVP favorite.
