Aaron Britt Jr. set the tone early at the City of Palms, consistently putting pressure on the St. John Bosco backcourt and controlling the tempo throughout the first half. The Villages Charter point guard showed poise, toughness, and leadership, helping steady his team after an early deficit.
Britt Jr. led The Villages with 13 points before halftime and finished with a game-high 23 points, powering a 65–59 winover St. John Bosco. Britt had solid help from teammate Jomar Bernard who added 16 pts.
On the opposing side, Christian Collins delivered a strong performance for Bosco, keeping his team within striking distance with 28 points and 10 rebounds.
After a slow start, Villages responded with urgency, outscoring Bosco 18–11 in the second quarter, largely fueled by Britt Jr.’s ability to attack the defense, collapse the paint, and create advantages for his teammates.
The 2026 6’2” point guard continues to showcase a well-rounded offensive game — making plays for others, knocking down deep three-pointers, and effectively controlling pace and tempo against high-level competition.
Following the win, Britt Jr. reflected on the performance and his return to the court:
“The win was great. It was a great team win. We got down early, but we fought back and finished the game strong as a team. I’m just happy to win with my guys.”
He also spoke on his health and recovery:
“Everything is going good with the injury. I’m really blessed to be back.”
And on his recruitment:
“Recruitment’s been going good — hearing from a lot of schools and just having fun with all of the coaches. Just really blessed.”
