Stockriser Spotlight: Quentin Coleman

Principia’s Scoring Star Shines at City of Palms

FORT MYERS, Fla. — The 2025-26 high school basketball season has been a statement year for Quentin Coleman, the 6-4 senior shooting guard from The Principia School in St. Louis. As a Wake Forest signee and one of the most prolific scorers in the Class of 2026, Coleman has continued to elevate his stock with dynamic, high-impact play, capped off by spectacular showings at the City of Palms Classic in Florida.

Coleman’s journey this year has seen him firmly establish himself as Principia’s offensive engine. A skilled shooter with deep range and the ability to create his own shot,  traits that made him a coveted recruit, Coleman committed to Wake Forest in October and carries national Top-100 status into his senior season.

City of Palms: Two Explosive Games

At one of the most competitive holiday tournaments in the country, Coleman did more than just compete — he dominated.

Vs. No. 4 Columbus (First Round)

In Principia’s upset of the nationally ranked Columbus (FL), Coleman erupted for 31 points, hitting tough jumpers and knocking down key perimeter shots as Principia emerged with a 74-62 victory. His playmaking was evident beyond scoring, contributing assists and defensive activity that kept the Panthers in control.

Vs. No. 2 Wheeler (Quarterfinals)

Continuing his torrid run, Coleman delivered an even bigger performance in the quarterfinals against  No. 2 Wheeler (GA), pouring in 34 points on highly efficient shooting, nailing multiple 3-pointers, and dominating inside despite physical competition. He also pulled down eight rebounds and was a constant threat whenever he touched the ball. Principia’s 69-63 upset was one of the biggest surprises of the early tournament.

These back-to-back high-scoring outings at the City of Palms have made Coleman a stock riser among national scouts and recruiting analysts, earning praise as one of the top breakout performers of the week.

What’s Next for the Panthers

While Principia’s run at the City of Palms eventually ended, Coleman’s sensational play helped the Panthers earn wins over top-tier opponents and showcased their competitiveness on a national stage. As the postseason approaches, Coleman’s scoring prowess gives Principia a legitimate chance to make noise and cap off a memorable senior campaign.

Bottom Line: Quentin Coleman’s 2025-26 season has been a statement ride  from an elite Wake Forest commitment to explosive tournament performances that have caught national attention. With his shot-making ability, versatile scoring, and clutch instincts on full display, Coleman looks destined for big things in college and beyond.
