OTR Thanksgiving Showcase

OTR Thanksgiving Showcase had several key performances and momentum-shifting runs across two evening matchups. Here are the players and storylines you need to know.

ALEXANDER v CEDAR GROVE

Alexander Standouts

Jayden Crawford

Jayden Crawford — 29 pts (Georgia Southern signee)

Crawford delivered a composed, high-level performance. He handled pressure, controlled pace, and knocked down tough pull-ups and deep three’s. His fourth-quarter shooting surge…multiple made threes, carried Alexander late and proved decisive.

Ethan Miller — 12 pts

The long, active sophomore created second-chance points with tip-ins and offensive rebounds. His energy around the basket gave Alexander a steady interior boost.

Torian Greene — 15 pts

Greene impacted the game on both ends, defending well and drilling three perimeter shots. His athleticism helped stabilize Alexander in key stretches.

Cedar Grove Standouts

Manny Green

Manny Green — 33 pts (27 in 2nd half) | Tennessee signee

Green showed elite versatility and took over in the second half. After setting the table early with unselfish play, he exploded down the stretch and hit the buzzer-beater three to send the game into overtime. Never forced the action and took what the defense game him.

Kevin Rogers — 18 pts

Rogers provided consistent scoring support as Cedar Grove rallied in the third and fourth quarters.

Game Summary

Both teams traded baskets late, but Alexander’s poise, playing without lead guard Greg “Pop” Dunson, combined with Crawford’s late-game shot-making secured the overtime win.

WOODWARD v. McEACHERN

Woodward Standouts

Myles Hayes — 18 pts (5 threes)

Hayes came out firing, scoring 10 in the opening quarter and 18 in the first half. His shooting stretched the floor before McEachern adjusted defensively and cut the water off with a hyper focus on him.

Jarvis Hayes Jr. — 17 pts

Jarvis scored eight straight in the second quarter to keep Woodward close and down just one going into the half. Woodward played without 2028 forward Bentley Lusakueno (minor injury).

McEachern Standouts

Chase Lumpkin — 17 pts in 1st quarter | 22 in 1st half

Chase Lumpkin

Lumpkin, finishing with 30 points,  opened the game with a dominant scoring burst, hitting shots from all over the floor and setting the tone in the first eight minutes. He kept that pace in the 2nd half as the Indians pulled away with a  dominant 3rd quarter performance.

Emmanuel Alofe — 14 pts

Alofe provided the inside balance McEachern needed, finishing plays around the rim and using his athleticism to control the paint.

Zack Graves — 10 pts

Graves chipped in efficient scoring during McEachern’s decisive third-quarter run.

Game Summary

A one-point game at halftime turned into a runaway as McEachern outscored Woodward 30–10 in the third quarter, hitting seven threes and locking down defensively on the way to a 91–56 victory.

FINAL TAKEAWAY

From Crawford’s clutch shooting to Green’s late-game takeover, and McEachern’s explosive third-quarter dominance, yesterday featured several names firmly cementing themselves on the Make5Media radar.
