After a being thrust into a leadership role at Osborne H.S., with much success as a sophomore, leading the Cardinals in scoring and getting national recognition as one of the country’s top 2025 shooting guards, Fleming was ready for the Spring/Summer travel ball season.
He started off the Spring by capturing MVP in the prestigious **UnderClassman AllAmerican Game.**The 6’4″ Fleming displayed his range, his pull-up game, and his ability to create for himself and others with his tight handles. Fleming wasn’t finished, “I had goals prior to the season to earn invites to USA Basketball and the NBPA Top100 camp“, box checked! Although not earning a final roster spot at USA, he got an opportunity to measure himself against many of the tops players in his class and by all reports, held his own. It was a like experience at Top100, where he played a vital role in his team’s championship run. When asked what he contributed to his growth over the last year, he replied, “conditioning…I work-out 5-6 days a week, with conditioning, shot-making and ball handling as the focus”. “Going game speed in my workouts also prepared me”, he continued.
Schools are taking notice as Fleming has received offers from UGA, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Kansas State, Florida, Providence, Indiana, Alabama, Cincinnati, SMU and Kennesaw State with interest from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, LSU and Texas.
Fleming is just taking it in right now, more focused on continued improvement than his offers, “I’m still pushing the levels of my conditioning and working with weights for the first time”. He doesn’t have any unofficial visits right now but all subject to change.
