Friday Night Notes at Holiday Hoopsgiving

It was a full day of games at the annual Holiday Hooopsgiving event with the anticipated Holy Innocents/North Tampa Christian match-up as the featured game.

Holy Innocents is led by five-star 6-10 forward Caleb Wilson with North Tampa Christian led by 6-10 2026 F Toni Bryant. The game was a back and forth affair with Wilson (15pts) and Bryant (18pts) effectively playing their part, xing each other out, leaving the outcome to be decided by the supporting casts.

The game was back and forth in the 1st half but behind the play of 6-5 2026 G Caleb Williams, who was the trigger point for NTC,  they slowly pulled away in the 2nd half to close out the win.. 6-6 2026 WF Caleb Sanders was key to the win, tasked to guard Caleb Wilson most of the game but also contributing with timely three’s and putbacks. Sanders finished with 16pts. 6-4 2025 SG AJ Jones came off the bench going 4-5 from three for 12pts. 2026 Holy Innocents guards Devin Hutcherson and Kingston Whitty  chipped in 11pts and 12pts respectively.

Wasatch Academy/Pebblebrook

6-4 2026 CG Katrelle Harmon ran the show and was the point of attack for Wasatch on both ends, leading to the win. He was disruptive to Pebblebrooks offense with constant pressure at the point of attack, leading to numerous turnovers. He ran the show on offense with a good mix of creating for his teammates and getting his own. I was very impressed with D1 prospect Adolph County. The 6-5 2026 G brought energy on both ends. He kept many possessions alive with rebounds or tip-outs while knocking down shots on ball reversals and getting out in transition.

6-10 C Fallou Dioum was a bright spot for Pebblebrook. He showed good activity on both ends, protecting the paint while consistently finishing dump-offs for dunks. Dioum runs the floor well and showed improvement guarding ball screens.
