Christopher Washington Jr., a top national prospect who stars with the Providence Christian Academy and B-Maze Elite UA program, has made headlines by committing on social media to the University of Alabama.
Washington who recently took an official visit to Alabama is known for his unique combination of size, skill, and versatility as a big guard, Washington has quickly become one of the most popular players in his class. His ability to score at all three levels, defend multiple positions, and impact the game on both ends has elevated his status as a high-major priority for programs nationwide.
“They’ve been recruiting me for a long time” Washington said of Alabama. “The coaching staff really believes in me and showed me how I fit into their plans. They play an NBA-style offense that gives guards like me freedom to create, attack, and use our size to our advantage. The way they’ve developed big guards in the past is exactly what I was looking for, and I know I’ll grow there.”
Washington took Alabama over top programs that included Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee, Villanova, Florida A&M and others. The Crimson Tide and that 2026 class makes a strong presence for Nate Oats program.
