Big time matchups, City of Palms

LUHI vs Bartlett

Bartlett used aggressive, disruptive defense to flip the game after halftime and pull away from LUHI for a 50–40 advantage by the end of the third quarter before closing out the win. Sloppy ball handling and rushed decisions plagued LUHI, allowing Bartlett to control the tempo and dictate the flow.

Bartlett was led by its inside-outside duo of 2027 F Dylan Jones and 2028 PG Braylon Williams. Jones attacked the rim with purpose, showing strength through contact and finishing plays, while Williams handled pressure well, played with pace, and proved to be a creative and intelligent finisher. DJ Okoh added energy on both ends, scoring nine points in the first half while making his presence felt defensively and on the glass.

LUHI kept things close early behind Kaden Allen, who scored 10 points in the first half and found success in the midrange. Jamal McKight showed good speed and a strong first step, consistently getting into the lane, while Christian Proctor flashed athleticism on the wing. Several role players contributed energy, but turnovers and missed opportunities ultimately stalled LUHI’s momentum in the second half.

Prolific Prep vs Bella Vista

Prolific Prep wasted no time asserting itself, opening the game on a 19–3 first-quarter run and never looking back. Relentless rim pressure paired with a stifling defensive effort forced Bella Vista into tough shots and turnovers throughout the contest.

Prolific led 40–22 at halftime behind the physical backcourt of Caleb Holt and Nasir Anderson, who combined for 20 points. Anderson, who also dished out four assists, halted a brief Bella Vista surge in the second quarter with back-to-back three-pointers. Holt stayed in constant attack mode, thriving in transition and finishing plays decisively.

Bruce Branch provided steady leadership, making the right reads and not forcing the action, allowing the offense to flow naturally. Prolific pushed the lead to as many as 30 in the third quarter, fully controlling both ends of the floor. Miles Sadler and Vaughn Karvala added solid contributions as Prolific cruised to a dominant win.

Wheeler vs Bishop McNamara

Bishop McNamara opened the game with balance, placing five players in the scoring column en route to a 15–11 first-quarter lead. Colben Landrew accounted for eight of Wheeler’s early points and continued carrying the load in the second quarter, finishing the half with 14.

Wheeler found a spark in the second half behind Jaron Saulsberry, who electrified the crowd with a strong drive and left-handed dunk in the third quarter. Saulsberry picked up the pace offensively, while Amir James filled the stat sheet as a true Swiss-army-knife contributor, impacting the game in multiple ways.

The contest went down to the wire. Prince Alexander-Moody, the Indiana signee, showcased his craft and poise, scoring at all three levels and finishing with 27 points, while Samuels added 16 for McNamara. 2027 6’10” Jahmai Drayton impressed with his mobility, footwork, and ability to run the floor.

With Wheeler clinging to a 75–74 lead late, Alexander-Moody slipped on a wet surface, leading to a fast-break dunk by Landrew that sealed the game. Landrew finished with a game-high 37 points, followed by Saulsberry’s 16 and James’ 14, as Wheeler secured a hard-fought 78–74 victory.
