April 4-6, 2025
It’s been a minute since I’ve had a chance to attend the Ashton Arnold Memorial. But I put it in my schedule to come this year. I got a chance to see the opening of a great new facility (DL6 Sportsplex). It’s great to have a chance to see multiple teams at once. I appreciate the guys at Hardwork Basketball Inc. for bringing me in. There were some nice prospects in this past weekend that should be gaining some Division One interest.
2026 Mikey Williams 6′ CG Greer (SC) Future Kings 2026
First thing that stood out to me was his toughness. He’s very active and plays with a lot of grit and intensity. He’s at his strongest when playing downhill, but he can also hurt you from downtown. He really sets the tone on the defensive end and will make your life miserable for 94 feet.
2026 Zion McGee 6’7 PF Legacy Early College (SC) Future Kings 2026
I really like his size and length. At times he showed he’s just physically dominating in the paint. When he gets you on the block you’re in trouble. My problem is he just didn’t do enough of it. There was nobody in this tournament that can guard him physically. When his motor kicks in at 100% he can become a major problem.
2026 Isaiah Atkins 6’8 PF/C Boiling Springs (SC) Future Kings 2026
I was really impressed with his ability to get up and down the court and finish at the rim with authority. He’s very active on the glass on both ends and showed he’s a very capable rim protector.
2026 Dyllan Harris 6’1 CG Spartanburg (SC) Future Kings 2026
He surprised me with his ability to get to the cup and finish with either hand. He plays with good pace and is hard to speed up. He can score at all 3 levels. He seemed to make big plays all weekend. He showed the ability to knock down the 3 with consistency even when contested.
2026 Lucas Eubanks 5’11 PG Fountain Inn (SC) SC Bluejays 17U Puma Nxt
He has the skills to be a real good point guard. He’s crafty, has good court vision, and can hurt you at all 3 levels. With that being said, as the point guard, I like to see him take more accountability with the team. This team’s going to go as he drives it.
2026 Jaimeir Latimer 6’1 CG Greer (SC) SC Bluejays 17U Puma Nxt
He’s a downhill guard that’s always putting pressure on the defense. He’s quick off the dribble and finishes at the basket. He has a nice pull-up game and can knock down the open 3. His intensity shows on both ends of the court. He can guard either guard position. He’s a physical on-ball defender.
2026 Zeke Garris 6’2 PG Carolina Day (NC) Thrills Skillz
He’s a tough, high-IQ point guard that can take over a game by scoring. He doesn’t get rattled easily and was good at getting to his spots and making positive plays. He has no problem bombing from long range and can knock it down from there.
2028 Kaleb Allen 6’5 CG TL Hanna (SC) Team SC 9th UA /Carolina Premier
This young man has special written all over him. He can literally play the 1, 2, and the 3 and can guard 4 positions. He’s crafty and does electric work in the paint. He can knock down 3-ballers and has a real nice mid-range shot. But with all being said, he is just realizing how good he is and needs to understand that he may not know, but his opponent does, and they are coming for him. Once everything clicks for him, this should be a big summer.
2028 Bryson Schofield 6’5 PF White Knoll High (SC) Team SC 9th UA /Carolina Premier
He impressed at times with his ability to make space in the paint and score while absorbing contact. He didn’t shoot with much range, but showed he could step out and make that 15-footer. He showed he could get up and down the court and make plays from the trail. He was aggressive on the glass on both ends. You can definitely see the potential.
2028 Cooper Lowrance 6’1 G West Henderson (NC) Thrills Skill Academy
He caught my eye while I was watching another game. I liked how aggressive he was and how he bullied his way to wherever he wanted on the court. He seemed to sink a few shots that looked good and went in and out on him. You can tell he’s a natural scorer. He’s definitely a kid I’m checking in on.
2028 Chayance King 5’11 CG Christ School (NC) Team SC 9th UA /Carolina Premier
At times, he was the team’s biggest competitor on the court. He put the team on his back and tried to keep them in the game. He was intimidated when teams tried to get physical with him. He was just tenacious and kept coming. He showed flashes of point guard skills. He made some good decisions on the break and made some good plays in half-court sets.
2028 Wyatt Duggar 6′ PG Greenville (NC) Team SC 9th Red/Carolina Premier
Watching him, from the door, you can tell he just knows how to play and has a high IQ. He sees the whole floor and was good at navigating the offense. He has sneaky quickness and a good first step. He has a nice shot from deep and will make you pay if left open.
2028 JJ Lassiter 6’5’ Combo F Riverside (NC) Team SC 9th Red/ Carolina Premier
I like how patient he played the game. He let the game come to him and took what the defense gave him. He was patient in the paint and had very good footwork. Then when left open behind the arc, he knocked down the 3-ball. You can see he is just starting to tap his potential.
2028 Satrell Fuller 5’10’ PG Woodmont (SC) SC Bluejays Puma Nxt
He really impressed with how fast he was with the ball. He played well in traffic and was very good at finishing at the basket. He was a little inconsistent with his jump-shot, but when hot, can rattle off a string of shots.
2030 Jakobe Cowhens G Team SC 2030 UA Rise / Carolina Premier
This lefty has a bright future in front of him. He plays with the intensity of an upperclassman. He makes winning plays and is at his best getting the basket and finishing. On the defense side, he’s tenacious and very disruptive.
2030 Cam Nelson F Team SC 2030 UA Rise / Carolina Premier
He’s one of the most versatile bigs I’ve seen in the South this spring. He has very good footwork for his age and has no problem finishing with either hand. He can step out and knock down the mid-range shot. He’s excellent running the floor and filling the lane. His potential is through the roof.
2030 Zane Bodnar CG Team SC 2030 UA Rise / Carolina Premier
Don’t let the size fool you; he has no problem getting his shot off way bigger players. He stretches the floor and can knock it down from deep, some as deep as NBA range.
