The front court group at the 2025 Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp was among the deepest and most competitive position groups of the event. This class of bigs combined length, strength, mobility, and touch, giving evaluators a clear glimpse into the next wave of interior talent coming out of the South. Several post prospects dominated their matchups and showed flashes of advanced skill that project well at the next level.
Felix Okam – 6’9
Center | Class of 2029 | Grand Prairie HS (TX)
Okam was one of the most impressive young bigs in attendance. His length and activity level made him a major factor defensively, challenging shots at the rim and altering offensive game plans. What separated Okam was his ability to run the floor and finish in transition, rare for a player his size and age. He displayed soft hands, a reliable touch around the basket, and strong instincts on the glass. Okam’s blend of size, mobility, and upside makes him one of the most intriguing 2029 prospects in the region.
Terrell Jackson – Center | Class of 2028 | Dallas Carter HS (TX)
Jackson was a dominant presence on both ends of the floor, playing with relentless energy and toughness. He made his mark in every game, cleaning up the glass, protecting the rim, and finishing efficiently inside with both hands. Jackson also showed a developing mid-range touch, which adds a new dimension to his interior game. His consistent motor and defensive impact helped him earn Co-Camp MVP honors, cementing his spot as one of the top bigs from the event.
Alex Alexander – 6’10 Center | Class of 2028 | Mesquite HS (TX)
Alexander was one of the premier bigs at the camp and shared Co-Camp MVP honors with Jackson. He was a dominant interior force, using his strong frame and athleticism to control the paint. Alexander finished with authority around the rim, rebounded at a high rate, and was a consistent shot-blocking threat. His ability to anchor the defense while running the floor and finishing in transition was on full display this weekend. With his combination of size, power, and agility, Alexander has legitimate potential for the next level.
Eppiphane Affi – 6’8 Forward | Class of 2028 | Xavier HS (TX)
Affi impressed with his athleticism and versatility as a frontcourt player. He played above the rim with ease, looked comfortable running be floor and converting in transition. Defensively, he was active by rotating, contesting shots, and using his length to disrupt plays. Affi’s fluidity and mobility stood out among the bigs, and as his offensive polish continues to develop, he has the makings of a good, two-way forward who can impact the game in multiple phases.
Na’az Bell – Forward | Class of 2028 | Booker T. Washington HS (LA)
Bell brought strength and toughness to every matchup. The physical forward played with confidence and wasn’t afraid to mix it up inside. He used his body well to establish position and finish through contact, while also flashing some playmaking ability in spurts. Bell’s combination of physicality, touch, and emerging skill gives him strong long-term potential as he continues to refine his game.
Brian Hopgood Jr. – 6’7 Forward | Class of 2028 | Bristow HS (OK)
Hopgood Jr. was a steady interior presence who did all the little things that win games. He played with consistent energy, attacked the boards, and competed on every possession. Hopgood was effective finishing through traffic and brought a physical edge that set the tone for his team. His toughness and willingness to battle inside made him one of the most reliable bigs in the gym.
