2025 John Lucas Be Elite Invitational Part 2

September 6-7, 2025 – Houston, TX

Part 2 (other notable standouts and eye-catchers)
2027 Vander Eberhard 6’8 PF (Fossil Ridge)
His ability to use his strength and physicality in the post was impressive. He has sneaky athleticism and showed his ability to play inside and outside. The effort he put in on both ends of the court is what set him apart.
2027 Aiden Maxwell-Aponte 6’3 G (Wilson Academy) Atlanta, GA
His ability to knock down the NBA three-ball was very impressive. It didn’t matter if he was contested, he still knocked it down with ease. When crowed on the line, he has no problem with you and finishes at the line or midrange. He showed with his size and quickness that he can guard both guard positions.
2027 Ethan Mott 6’6 W (Grandview Prep) Jupiter, FL
He’s one of the best shooters in the state of Florida and he showed it in camp. He has the ability to make his contested 3’s. When ran off the line, he can put the ball on the floor and make plays. He has the ability to see the whole court and make the right play.
2027 Ethan Polite 6’4 G (North Little Rock High) Marbella, AR
One of the most underrated players that I have covered all year. He always seems to produce and his ability to make positive plays is impressive. His ability to do so many things on the court is what makes him so valuable. I’m surprised his recruitment hasn’t picked up.
2027 Caleb Lundy 6’4 CG (Archbishop Wood) Warminster, PA
One of the most complete guards on the East Coast in his class. He has the ability to take over a game at both guard positions. He’s strong with the ball in his hands and can hurt you attacking the basket or knocking down a shot from deep. He showed the ability to get his teammates involved, while getting his on the offensive end.
2026 William Tshimanga 6’8 PF (AZ Compass) Phoenix, AZ
He plays like a grown man. Every move was made with physical intentions. He was aggressive in attacking the basket. He showed enough ball handling skills to take it off the glass and go coast to coast and finish at the rim. The majority of his work was done in the paint. He did knock down the occasional midrange shot.
2026 Matisse Baye 7’ C (Marian) Marian, TX
His game is still fairly raw. He doesn’t have a lot of bad habits. He showed a lot of effort in the paint on both ends. His hustling up and down the court showed me effort. He was very attentive in station drills. He’s definitely a project to keep an eye on.
2028 Raiden Burke 6’1″ PG (Morgan HS), Riverview, FL
He plays with patience and a high IQ. When left open, he can knock down the deep 3. He’s a pass-first PG that looks to get his teammates involved. He has the ability to score at all 3 levels. He has good court vision. On the defensive end, he has good instincts playing the lane.
2028 Cullen Browne 6’3 G (Wilson Academy) Atlanta GA
I have been watching the development of the young man for the past two years, and he continues to impress me. He can score at every level. He’s a tough shot maker. He has the ability to make players better, and his plays under control and within himself.
Look forward to watching his continued growth.
2027 Malik Parrish 6’9 F (New Wave Academy) Houston, TX
He’s one of those players that you say at the end of his high school career was one of the gems of the class. He’s just scratching the tip of his potential. At the moment his lives off his athleticism, which is off the charts. He shows flashes on the offensive end, but staying in the lab is very important to his progress.
2028 King McMillian 6’4″ G (Hillard HS) Jacksonville, FL
McMillian was eye catching during drill work and kept my attention during game play with his outside shooting.  Would love to see him create more options off the bounce, at the end of the day he can make a name for himself soon.
2027 Aaron Miles Jr. 5’9″ PG (St. Augustine HS) New Orleans, LA
Plays has if he’s 6’3″ at his position. He has a big time heart and grit about his game. He has a quick first step and was one of the better below the rim finishers for his size.
