The wing position was loaded with length, athleticism, and versatility at the 2025 Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp. This group brought a mix of scoring ability, defensive range, and transition play that stood out across multiple sessions. Aiden Bezenah – 6’8 Wing | Class of 2028 | Jenks HS (OK)
Bezenah was one of the most complete and polished offensive wings in attendance. At 6’8, he showcased impressive versatility by comfortably attacking off the dribble, finishing through contact, and knocking down shots from beyond the arc. His ability to stretch the floor while still being a reliable slasher made him a matchup problem throughout the camp. Defensively, he rotated well and displayed good instincts, while his confidence pushing the ball in transition highlighted his all-around feel. Bezenah has all the tools to be a high-level prospect as he continues to develop physically.
Bryson Miles – 6’5 Wing | Class of 2028 | Booker T. Washington HS (OK)
Miles brought energy, toughness, and athleticism to both ends of the floor. He played with a relentless motor on defense, showing the ability to guard multiple positions and disrupt passing lanes. On offense, he thrived when attacking downhill using his strength and athletic burst to get to his spots and finish inside. When Miles stays aggressive, he becomes a difficult matchup, capable of scoring in traffic and impacting the game without needing a high volume of touches. His competitive edge and two-way potential were clear throughout the weekend.
DJ Parker – 6’6 Wing | Class of 2030 | Kennemer Middle School (TX)
Parker was easily one of the most exciting young prospects at the event. The 6’6 wing possesses elite athleticism for his age and was a constant highlight in transition, finishing above the rim with authority. Beyond the athletic flashes, Parker showed composure handling the ball and comfort attacking off the dribble. His long frame and defensive potential stood out, and as his perimeter shooting continues to develop, he projects as a major prospect in future classes. Parker’s upside is undeniable and he left a lasting impression among evaluators.
Joseph Creal III – 6’5 Wing | Class of 2029 | Mansfield Summit HS (TX)
Creal established himself as one of the premier shooters in the gym. He has a smooth, quick release and was deadly from beyond the arc, knocking down shots off the catch and in rhythm. His length allowed him to contest shots defensively and disrupt plays on the perimeter. As he continues to grow into his frame, his ability to shoot at a high clip combined with his developing athleticism makes him a prospect with significant long-term intrigue.
Mike Sorrell – 6’5 Wing | Class of 2029 | Episcopal School of Dallas (TX)
Sorrell was a consistent marksman throughout the weekend. His shooting form was repeatable and efficient, giving him the confidence to stretch the defense at all times. Sorrell displayed solid fundamentals and patience in his offensive approach, making smart reads and spacing the floor effectively. His perimeter shot-making ability and understanding of the game give him a strong foundation to build on as he continues to mature physically and add to his arsenal.
Other Notable Wings
Other wings that played well were Finley Rosenberg (6’2, 2028, Seven Lakes HS), who displayed versatile scoring ability and sneaky athleticism. Drake Chatman (6’5, 2028, Community HS) impressed with his playmaking instincts and defensive activity, impacting games by setting up teammates and using his length to contest shots on the perimeter. Haynes Brookhart (6’4, 2028, JJ Pearce HS) stood out as a knockdown shooter, consistently spacing the floor and converting from deep with confidence and range.

The front court group at the 2025 Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp was among the deepest and most competitive position groups of the event. This class of bigs combined length, strength, mobility, and touch, giving evaluators a clear glimpse into the next wave of interior talent coming out of the South. Several post prospects dominated their matchups and showed flashes of advanced skill that project well at the next level.

Felix Okam – 6’9 Center | Class of 2029 | Grand Prairie HS (TX)
Okam was one of the most impressive young bigs in attendance. His length and activity level made him a major factor defensively, challenging shots at the rim and altering offensive game plans. What separated Okam was his ability to run the floor and finish in transition, rare for a player his size and age. He displayed soft hands, a reliable touch around the basket, and strong instincts on the glass. Okam’s blend of size, mobility, and upside makes him one of the most intriguing 2029 prospects in the region.

 

Terrell Jackson – Center | Class of 2028 | Dallas Carter HS (TX)
Jackson was a dominant presence on both ends of the floor, playing with relentless energy and toughness. He made his mark in every game, cleaning up the glass, protecting the rim, and finishing efficiently inside with both hands. Jackson also showed a developing mid-range touch, which adds a new dimension to his interior game. His consistent motor and defensive impact helped him earn Co-Camp MVP honors, cementing his spot as one of the top bigs from the event.

 

 

Alex Alexander – 6’10 Center | Class of 2028 | Mesquite HS (TX)
Alexander was one of the premier bigs at the camp and shared Co-Camp MVP honors with Jackson. He was a dominant interior force, using his strong frame and athleticism to control the paint. Alexander finished with authority around the rim, rebounded at a high rate, and was a consistent shot-blocking threat. His ability to anchor the defense while running the floor and finishing in transition was on full display this weekend. With his combination of size, power, and agility, Alexander has legitimate potential for the next level.

Eppiphane Affi – 6’8 Forward | Class of 2028 | Xavier HS (TX)
Affi impressed with his athleticism and versatility as a frontcourt player. He played above the rim with ease, looked comfortable running be floor and converting in transition. Defensively, he was active by rotating, contesting shots, and using his length to disrupt plays. Affi’s fluidity and mobility stood out among the bigs, and as his offensive polish continues to develop, he has the makings of a good, two-way forward who can impact the game in multiple phases.

 

Na’az Bell – Forward | Class of 2028 | Booker T. Washington HS (LA)
Bell brought strength and toughness to every matchup. The physical forward played with confidence and wasn’t afraid to mix it up inside. He used his body well to establish position and finish through contact, while also flashing some playmaking ability in spurts. Bell’s combination of physicality, touch, and emerging skill gives him strong long-term potential as he continues to refine his game.

 

 

Brian Hopgood Jr. – 6’7 Forward | Class of 2028 | Bristow HS (OK)
Hopgood Jr. was a steady interior presence who did all the little things that win games. He played with consistent energy, attacked the boards, and competed on every possession. Hopgood was effective finishing through traffic and brought a physical edge that set the tone for his team. His toughness and willingness to battle inside made him one of the most reliable bigs in the gym.

 

Other Notables
Other frontcourt players who impressed included Lucki Harbert III (6’8, 2028, Duncanville HS), who showed his ability to stretch the floor with a smooth shooting stroke and soft touch around the basket. Kayden Smith (6’7, 2028, Second Baptist HS) also stood out with his energy, activity on the glass, and consistent effort on both ends. Xavier Young (6’9, 2028, Faith Family Academy) was active defensively, rebounding at a high rate and finishing strong around the rim. Brought a valuable interior presence and effort to every matchup.

The 2025 Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp once again delivered a high level of talent and competitive energy, with several young guards showcasing skill sets well beyond their years. From elite shot-making and crafty playmaking to defensive presence and poise under pressure, this year’s group featured multiple prospects who separated themselves from the pack.

Bae Bae Groom – 6’0 Guard | Class of 2028 | Duncanville HS (TX)
Groom was one of the most consistent two-way performers of the weekend. The Duncanville product stood out with his ability to score at all three levels, using pace and body control to create separation and finish efficiently. He also showed strong defensive instincts, moving his feet well and taking pride in on-ball coverage. Groom’s blend of scoring and playmaking gives him long-term appeal as a lead guard capable of running an offense while being a threat to put points on the board at any time.

Aiden Clark – 6’0 Guard | Class of 2028 | Houston Legacy School (TX)
Clark made a major impression, capping his weekend by earning MVP honors of the Top 30 Game. The explosive guard constantly put pressure on defenders with a quick first step that allowed him to get to the rim at will. He showed comfort knocking down shots from beyond the arc and demonstrated a composed, mature approach to the game. Clark’s combination of burst, scoring versatility, and confidence made him one of the premier guards in attendance.

Heir Jackson – 6’2 Combo Guard | Class of 2030 | Homeschool (TX) One of the youngest prospects at the camp, Jackson displayed impressive poise and upside. At 6’2, he already has good positional size and uses it well on both ends of the floor. He showcased impressive athleticism and fluidity, hitting shots off the dribble and attacking gaps with confidence. For a 2030 prospect, Jackson’s feel for the game and ability to create offense were advanced, making him a name to watch in future Pangos events.

Braylon Manning – 5’8 Guard | Class of 2029 | Waxahachie HS (TX)
Manning’s quickness and energy were difference-makers throughout the weekend. He used his speed to consistently get downhill and put pressure on the defense. Defensively, he was disruptive at the point of attack, forcing turnovers and turning defense into offense. Manning also proved he could stretch the floor, connecting on multiple deep threes in the Top 60 Game where he took home MVP honors. His tenacity and confidence stood out among his peers.
Cohen Lacoste – 6’0 Guard | Class of 2028 | Melissa HS (TX)
Lacoste impressed with his steady presence and advanced decision-making. He orchestrated the offense with maturity, controlling tempo and finding open teammates throughout the weekend. Lacoste handled defensive pressure well, consistently got into the paint to create scoring opportunities, and knocked down shots when left open. His blend of composure, IQ, and skill makes him a reliable floor general with next-level potential.

 

Other Guards Who Impressed
Several other guards also left strong impressions with their play. Patrick Jameson (6’0, 2028, Liberty Christian HS) displayed a balanced skill set and energy on both ends of the floor. Brock Moore (5’11, 2028, Waxahachie HS) played with confidence and showed his versatile scoring ability as he got it done from just about everywhere on the offensive end. Jamion Broom (6’1, 2028, Lake Highlands HS) showcased his handle and ability to shoot off the driving. Terrance Johnson (6’2, 2029, Plano Sr. HS) showcased athletic tools and scoring versatility, while Prince Shammgod (6’1, 2029, Legion Prep HS) impressed with his creativity and ability to make plays for himself and others.
